Automotive aftermarket retailer Advance Auto Parts is the new title sponsor of the Monster Jam series of monster truck competitions in the U.S. And part of the deal calls for Advance and Monster Jam to incorporate even greater support for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) at select events, through a variety of special events to raise funds to “crush” juvenile diabetes. Since 1994, Advance has raised more than $20 million for JDRF.
The company is also the primary sponsor of the monster truck “Grinder,” driven by Lupe Soza, the 2004 Monster Jam World Finals Freestyle Champion. Previously, Soza drove “El Toro Loco.”
