New tool kits manufactured by Ken-Tool are designed to assist mechanics when performing service on Bendix ADB22X air disc brakes. The kits match the proper tools to the level of service required and are being offered by Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake.
The three kits were specifically developed based on required service normally related to vehicle age, accumulated miles, and vocation. There is a tappet and boot replacement kit; a guide pin/pin boot service kit, and a complete kit.
The kits are available for pre-order with shipping occurring no later than April 15. Aftermarket distributors ordering by Feb. 8, 2010, will receive a one-time discount of 50% off the total kit order, said Bendix Spicer.
“The new tool kits continue the Bendix tradition of superior product support,” said Aaron Schwass, director of foundation brakes. “Nearly 200,000 Bendix ADB22X air disc brakes from Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake are now in use on North American highways and that number is constantly growing. Partnering with Ken-Tool enables our customers to have easy access to the tools needed to keep their trucks on the road.”
