ARI president announces retirement

Bill McKee, a long-time executive and current president of Automotive Resources International (ARI) has announced he will retire, effective July 31, 2010. Before that, he will assume the role of CEO beginning Jan. 1, 2010

Bill McKee, a long-time executive and current president of Automotive Resources International (ARI) has announced he will retire, effective July 31, 2010. Before that, he will assume the role of CEO beginning Jan. 1, 2010.

“Bill has laid the foundation on which ARI will continue to build,” said Mindy Holman, president & CEO, Holman Enterprises, parent company of ARI, “His leadership, keen business sense and tactical capabilities will be sorely missed.”

ARI is a global fleet solutions provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets.

Taking over for McKee as president will be Carl Ortell. Ortell joined Holman as an internal auditor in June 1986, transferring to ARI in 1987. He was most recently executive vp & COO.

McKee began his career at ARI in 1992 as executive vp, becoming president in 1998. He is credited with initiating ARI’s formal strategic planning program that serves as the company’s roadmap for growth.
