ATRI to hold incident-management webinar

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), the not-for-profit research arm of the American Trucking Assns. (ATA), will hold a webinar entitled Traffic Incident Management: The National Unified Goal at 1 Year – A Look to the Future

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), the not-for-profit research arm of the American Trucking Assns. (ATA), will hold a webinar entitled Traffic Incident Management: The National Unified Goal at 1 Year – A Look to the Future on November 20th from 12:45 to 2:30 p.m. EST.

The free webinar will be hosted by ATRI president Rebecca Brewster and will focus on safely and quickly clearing incident scenes through improved traffic incident management, highlighting the work of the Traffic Incident Management Coalition (NTIMC).

According to ATRI, crashes, stalled vehicles, roadway debris and spilled cargo are responsible for approximately 25% of the congestion on U.S. roadways, costing truckers more than $72 per hour in wasted labor, fuel and equipment expenses.
