Ruan names SoCal director of business development

Ruan Transport Corp. has named Matt Skembo director of business development in the Southern California region. Skembo’s duties will include acquiring new business and building current customers’ business.

Skembo has been with Ruan for 18 months, most recently as a management trainee. Prior to joining the company, he spent more than six years in the U.S. Air Force.

Ruan provides dedicated contract carriage, bulk carriage, supply chain and brokerage services for its logistics, warehousing, cross docking, and facility/yard management clients. The company has 162 locations in the U.S. and employs 4,400 drivers.
