Kirk May takes over as vp-national sales at LTL carrier ABF Freight System on Dec. 1 this year, replacing the retiring Donald Reynolds, a 39-year ABF veteran who spent the last 20 years in that postion.

May, who joined Fort Smith, AR-based ABF as a sales representative back in 1990, most recently served as regional vp-sales, a position he held for eight years.

“Kirk brings a tremendous amount of sales leadership experience to his new position. His innate problem-solving ability and astute analytical skills are also highly valued,” said Roy Slagle, ABF’s senior vp-sales and marketing. “I am confident that ABF's long history of outstanding customer service will continue under his leadership.”
