If the top “bad guy” in the new Transformers: Dark of the Moon flick looks familiar, it's because one of the “actors” for the role of Megatron — leader of the evil Decepticon robots — is none other than a Mack Granite model dressed down in military fatigues and armed for action.

Bulldogs are getting to be old hands on Transformers movie sets. The second in the series, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, featured two Mack Pinnacle highway tractors and a Mack Granite mixer truck.

“When we were approached again for the third movie, given the nature of the role, we immediately agreed with the selection of a Mack military truck to play the vehicle mode for Megatron,” said Kevin Flaherty, Mack's senior vice president for the U.S. and Canada.

Fans can also purchase action figures of the truck.
