The National Truck Equipment Assn. is hosting a free webinar on Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. that will discuss the principles and concepts of “lean and clean” practices and energy utilization.

The 60-min. webinar is being held in conjunction with the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Dept. of Energy. The four organizations have partnered to produce a program named E3 – Energy, Environment and Economy-- which conducts business assessments for small- and mid-sized companies. This webinar will explain the principles and concepts of the E3 program.

The webinar will provide an overview of the E3 program, including the steps necessary to engage a local MEP representative for an on-site assessment. A complete E3 assessment includes a lean review of the organization, an energy audit, a greenhouse gas evaluation, a clean review and post-assessment recommendations.
