Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, a leading manufacturer of dry freight vans, reefers, flatbeds, and Tautliner® curtainsided trailers, is pleased to announce that it has made the Hendrickson Quik-Draw® pneumatic slider pin-pull system standard equipment

Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, a leading manufacturer of dry freight vans, reefers, flatbeds, and Tautliner® curtainsided trailers, is pleased to announce that it has made the Hendrickson Quik-Draw® pneumatic slider pin-pull system standard equipment on all reefers and dry vans, including the 3000R® reefer and the 4000D-X® thin wall dry van.

Triggered with a simple pull of a knob, the Hendrickson Quik-Draw® pneumatic slider pull-pin system improves driver productivity by making it faster for drivers to move the gear. Leveraging the trailer’s air system and applying continuous pressure, the Hendrickson Quik-Draw® eliminates the tugging, hammering and jerking that are part of the everyday experience with manual slider pins. Making the driver’s job easier, Utility is making the Quik-Draw® standard equipment on both all reefers and dry vans, including the 3000R® reefer and 4000D-X® dry van which will be showcased at this year’s Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) March 22-24 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Engineered for low tare weight and high payloads, the 3000R® was completely designed from the ground up to provide greater quality and higher standard features to give our customers more productivity. The natural accompaniment to the leading mix of standard features, the Quik-Draw® joins the patented 16,000 lb. floor system, superior corrosion protection, patented Barrier® rear doors with durable door gaskets, high-pressure foam in place insulation, 5-year Stemco Platinum Performance System™ wheel end, stainless steel rear door frame, and LED lights, that make the 3000R® the nation’s number one selling reefer.

Designed for strength and productivity, the 4000D-X® patented thin-wall design was engineered to compete squarely in the thin-wall segment by combining an aluminum exterior skin with 80K steel interior panels separated by a core material. Complementing a variety of productivity-enhancing standard features, the Hendrickson Quik-Draw® joins the other standard features, such as Snag Free™ recessed squeezed rivets, stainless steel rear door frame, heavy duty king pin assembly, 5-year Stemco Platinum Performance System™ wheel end, integrated rear threshold plate, patented 80k flush steel side posts, and white lining panels, that make the 4000D-X® the natural choice in thin-wall dry vans.

Attendees of this year’s Mid-America Trucking Show may see the top selling 3000R® refrigerated van and the productive 4000D-X® with the Hendrickson Quik-Draw® pneumatic slider at Utility’s booth# 5400.
