Horton names interim president

Geert Henk Touw, a member of the Horton board of directors, has been appointed interim president & CEO, the company announced

Geert Henk Touw, a member of the Horton board of directors, has been appointed interim president & CEO, the company announced.

Touw has served on the board for more than two years. He spent 21 years at Donaldson Co., serving most recently as senior vice president Asia Pacific, and managing director, vice president and general manager Europe, Middle East and Africa.

“We are pleased that Henk has stepped into this role,” says Hugh K. Schilling, founder and chairman of the board of directors of Horton Holding, Inc. “Henk’s international manufacturing experience is particularly important at this critical time, with emissions regulations and economic challenges in our industry. He is eminently qualified to ensure that Horton continues to provide innovative airflow management solutions that meet the changing needs of the industry.”

Touw serves on the boards of Bellcomb Technologies, Inc. and the Minnesota International Center.
