    Ryder System, Inc. has announced the purchase of Gator Leasing, Inc., acquiring its truck fleet of 2,300 full service lease and rental units as well as its 300 contract customers.

    The acquisition should be finalized in May, Ryder said. Gator Leasing is a full-service truck leasing, commercial truck rental and fleet services company with nine Florida locations headquartered in Miami.
