• Denso taps Kimura for COO role

    Southfield, MI-based Denso International America Inc. (DIAM) has named Kazumasa Kimura COO. As COO, Kimura will oversee the company’s overall sales operations in North America.

    In addition to his duties as COO of DIAM, Kimura will also serve as one of parent firm Denso Corp.’s executive directors. Prior to being appointed to these roles, Kimura was director of the Global Sales and Business Development Div. of Denso Corp. There he was responsible for global OE sales and marketing.

    The company said “Kimura’s extensive experience in sales and marketing will help strengthen sales functions and improve customer satisfaction in North America.”

    Denso Corp., headquartered in Japan’s Kariya, Aichi prefecture, is a leading global automotive supplier of advanced technology, systems and components in the areas of thermal, powertrain control, electric, electronics and information and safety.
