Wingfoot Commercial Tire has opened two new truck maintenance centers – marking its 34th and 35th additions of such facilities – in Russellville, AR, and Tuscaloosa, AL. The new center in Russellville is located off Interstate 40, adjacent to a Flying J truck stop, while the Tuscaloosa facility is off Interstate 20/59, on Pilot Travel Center property.

Both service centers will provide truck fleets with preventive maintenance service, including oil changes, and light mechanical service, such as brake, electrical, and heating/air conditioning repairs.

“The I-20 and I-40 roadways are two of the most important east-west arteries in the U.S., and locating these centers here will bring our fleet maintenance services closer to where they’re needed,” said Clint Schrock, Wingofoot’s director of on-highway operations.

Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., operates more than 140 commercial tire sales, service, and retread facilities nationwide. In addition, Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems has 35 on-highway Truck Care Centers operating in 15 states.
