Global freight forwarder and logistics provider Seko Worldwide has hired John Fitzgerald to be its new global vp of sales and marketing.
Global freight forwarder and logistics provider Seko Worldwide has hired John Fitzgerald to be its new global vp of sales and marketing. Based out of Seko’s corporate headquarters in Itasca, IL, he will be responsible for the overall management of the company’s sales and marketing efforts, including its strategic clients.
Fitzgerald has more than 30 years of experience in the logistics industry, including stints at freight forwarding companies Fritz and Circle, as well as Airborne Express. He most recently worked with UPS Supply Chain Solutions as regional vp-business development for the retail consumer sector.
In addition, Fitzgerald served as global chairman for the Chicago roundtable of the Council of Logistics Management, now renamed the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
