A software system currently being used to help small and medium retailers and manufacturers manage multiple shipments via FedEx Express and FedEx Ground will now be offered by FedEx Freight as well – the LTL arm of FedEx Corp.

FedEx Ship Manager Software helps customers manage multiple FedEx Freight, FedEx Express and FedEx Ground shipments simultaneously with a combined address book – a system that also includes the ability to create shipping reports and e-mail notifications concerning shipment status.

Bills of lading and shipping labels can also be sent via e-mail to another recipient with this system, noted Bill Logue, president & CEO of FedEx Freight in a statement.
