Schneider Logistics, Inc. has announced the opening of five new freight forwarding offices at major U.S. and European gateways. The company’s Chicago, Atlanta and New York offices will add to its existing facilities in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Miami. Schneider also announced the opening of European offices in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

“These locations and services are key components in our strategy to build a comprehensive, door-to-door, global logistics operation that spans air, ocean and truck transportation,” said John Ferguson, vp, International, for Schneider Logistics. “These new locations strengthen our leadership position in freight forwarding and customs brokerage, with significant capabilities to provide a full range of services to and from the rest of the world.”

Schneider said the new facilities will help the company diversify their predominantly West Coast options for points of delivery. Schneider Logistics currently operates over 13 million sq. ft. of transloading and warehousing space, managing more than 300 dray drivers at U.S. ports.
