Write Up the Road Publishing has announced it is offering courses that outline how to start a small trucking company via phone moderated by industry veteran Timothy Brady and a panel of experts.

The list of courses include:

  • How to set up your trucking company
  • Banking on success: the road to self-capitalization
  • What insurance do I need for my trucking company
  • Setting up your safety department
  • How to determine a profitable hauling rate
  • How to negotiate better paying loads
  • How to find direct ship customers
  • How small trucking companies can market themselves
  • Buying new or used
