A new terminal cleaner and maintenance kit will help companies extend the useful life of its electrical harnesses, Innovative Products of America (IPA) said.

The 7-round pin terminal cleaners are designed to remove corrosion while reconditioning bad connectors on 7-round pin type electrical terminals. They are manufactured to SAE specifications.

IPA also has released a 7-round pin towing maintenance kit that combines the 7-round pin tester, the terminal cleaners, and the DeoxIT Contact Enhancer in one kit.

“There are more than 7 million tractors and trailers on the road today and approximately 65,000 repair centers dedicated to servicing them,” Ian Vinci, vp of IPA. “All of these vehicles have one thing in common-- they use the same 7 round pin terminals to connect the trailer to the tractor.”
