Con-way names human resources veep

Con-way Freight has named Bruce H. Moss vp of human resources, where he will be responsible for strategic planning, development and human resources activities for the company

Con-way Freight has named Bruce H. Moss vp of human resources, where he will be responsible for strategic planning, development and human resources activities for the company. Moss, formerly Central Area vp of operations, replaces the retiring Scott J. Engers.

A 30-year freight transportation veteran, Moss began his career in 1978 with Carolina Freight Carriers in terminal operations and management. He joined Con-way in 1990, becoming vp of operations, Central Area in 2007.

Succeeding Moss will be Paul Lorensen, a 20-year Con-way veteran that was a member of the start-up team that launched Con-way Southwest Express in 1989. He was most recently director of solutions engineering for Con-way Freight.
