The American Trucking Assns. (ATA) has named Clayton Boyce as its vp for the office of public affairs, effective January 24.
Boyce most recently served as the Public Affairs Officer of the U.S. Dept. of Transportation Office of the Inspector General. He also was editor-in-chief and publisher of Traffic World magazine. He has been a director of the Transportation and Marketing and Communications Assn., co-chairman of the Transportation Table, and a frequent speaker on transportation issues.
“We're pleased to add a veteran official of transportation communications to our organization,” said ATA president & CEO Gov. Bill Graves. “Clayton has represented the trucking industry through a variety of prominent positions throughout the years, and we're fortunate to be able to bring his considerable experience to ATA.”
