CPC Logistics, a logistics personnel and services company, has announced that its Canadian subsidiary, Logistics Professionals Limited (LPL), has finalized the acquisition of Global Driver Service.

The acquisition of Global complements LPL's other operating companies – CPC Logistics Canada Limited and Huron Services Group Limited. It also increases CPC's presence in Canada with operations being added in New Brunswick and Saskatchewan along with the present operations in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec, said John Bickel Sr., CPC president.

"Global was a natural fit for our continued expansion into Canada," Bickel said. "We can now offer our customers a vast network of resources which cover all of North America, additional services and added efficiencies that we were not able to offer previously."
