Britt Olson, a technician for Southeastern Freight Lines, was named 2007 Technician of the Year at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Las Vegas.

The award is sponsored by Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, Dayton Parts, Haldex, Odyssey Battery and SKF, with the recipient chosen by a panel of heavy-duty trucking experts.

Olson has worked for Southeastern for over 20 years and has logged over 85 hours of training since 2002, earning certification in Volvo A/C troubleshooting, Haldex brake/ABS, Meritor PSI tire inflation system and ConMet wheel ends, among others.
