The medium-duty extended warranty program on certain Kenworth trucks offered via Paccar Financial has been extended through Dec. 31, 2011. The program, open to U.S. customers purchasing a Kenworth Class 5-7 factory or dealer stock truck meeting eligibility requirements, includes a 2-year/200,000 mi. basic vehicle extended warranty when financing that vehicle through Paccar Financial.

“This program provides excellent value,” said Gary Moore, Kenworth asst. gm for marketing & sales. “Qualifying Class 5-7 customers receive an additional one year and 100,000 mi. of warranty coverage per eligible truck under this joint Kenworth and Paccar Financial program.”

A similar extension of Kenworth’s Class 8 truck warranty was announced in early February. That program offers a no-cost, 3-yr./300,000 mi. basic vehicle extended warranty.
