Ryder System has announced its 2009 Ryder Carrier Quality Award recipients. The award recognizes excellence through a variety of metrics, including on-time performance, claims handling, customer service, technology applications, economic value and innovation

Ryder System has announced its 2009 Ryder Carrier Quality Award recipients. The award recognizes excellence through a variety of metrics, including on-time performance, claims handling, customer service, technology applications, economic value and innovation.

The recipients are:

LTL regional: AAA Cooper Transportation

LTL national: Con-way Freight

LTL national: Old Dominion Freight Lines

LTL inter-regional: Vitran Express

International forwarder: CEVA Logistics

International maritime commerce: CSAV

North American forwarder: Pilot Freight

Canadian LTL: Kingsway Transport

Canadian truckload: Bison Transport

Truckload dry van national: Celadon

Truckload dry van regional: Arnold Transportation Services

Truckload specialized: Landstar Carrier Group

Intermodal: JB Hunt Transport, Inc.
