Truckload carrier U.S. Xpress Enterprises has promoted John White to executive vp—operations.

Since joining the company in June 2005, White has overseen truckload operations as vp—operations. In his new role, White will be responsible for the affiliated companies within U.S. Xpress Enterprises to develop profitable synergies and expand specialized services.

“Over the past four years, we have been making the transition at U.S. Xpress from the traditional long-haul market to feature more specialized services, including dedicated contract carriage, time-definite on-demand service, regional operations and expedited rail,” said Max Fuller, the company’s co-chairman.
