Silver calendar
The Shell Rotella SuperRigs calendar hits the quarter-century mark this year. To commemorate that milestone, the calendar includes a 25th anniversary DVD that details all three days of the silver anniversary event recently held in Joplin, MO.
The striking '05 Pete 379 owned by of Curtis Christians, who captured Best in Show honors at the 25th Shell Rotella SuperRigs contest in 2007, is featured on the cover of the calendar as well as for the month of January. Black stacks and subtle flames highlight the award-winning rig. The calendar can be purchased online at www.rotella.com.
“Dependence on fossil fuels and corn-based ethanol create economic pressures that can be relieved by the use of non-food feed stocks to generate large quantities of renewable fuels. With 60% of America's oil being imported, it is critical for America to develop efficient, renewable fuel sources. Renewable fuels, such as cellulose ethanol represent a low-cost domestic source of energy that generates both environmental and economic benefits to the U.S. economy.”
