The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) will organize 10,000 truck and bus inspectors to conduct its annual 72-hr safety inspection blitz, known as Roadcheck, starting June 6. These inspections involve a 37-step procedure, including items related to vehicle, driver and cargo safety.

CVSA is also launching a podcast on the week of Roadcheck designed to educate commercial vehicle drivers on safety and security measures. The podcast series will be called Inside the Safety Lane with CVSA. The podcast can be downloaded from www.cvsa.org/podcast.
