A new spread-axle trailer tire with a deep tread depth, scrub-resistant properties, and a four-belt casing design for toughness has joined the Goodyear line of commercial tires.
The G619 RST features 18/32-in. tread depth for long tread life, a high scrub compound that helps resist curb damage, and a robust rib design to help minimize tread tear, the company said.
“The Goodyear G619 RST has been engineered to resist scrubbing and curb impact,” said Andrea Berryman, segment marketing manager, Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems.
The tire is currently available in size 295/75R22.5 in Load Range G. Three additional sizes-- 11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 285/75R24.5, all Load Range G – will be released during the second quarter, Goodyear noted.
