Corona, CA-based Lucas Oil will open its first Lucas Oil Center 001 in December in Evansville, IN. IThe facility will be the first of a new “integrated” service model, one designed to provide care for cars and light-duty trucks alike.

The new center will offer: express and full serve washes; automotive and motorcycle detailing; oil change and lube service; plus minor maintenance including brake, cooling and air conditioning system services.

The facility will carry the full line of Lucas Oil products, as well as other brands, and will handle cars, vans, light trucks, SUVs, RVs and motorcycles. The shop will also feature a full-service coffee/snack counter, a kid friendly “play zone,” and even a conference room for various local car and motorcycle clubs to use as a meeting area.

Originally focused on producing additives for the heavy-duty trucking industry, Lucas Oil has in recent years has branched out to offer its own lines of high-performance and racing additives, motor oils, and detail products for automotive use.

“We’ve spent years developing what I believe are the very finest products of their kind for a wide variety of [vehicle] applications,” said company owner Forrest Lucas. “These new Lucas Oil Centers will be a perfect medium for getting them to the general public.”

He added that the Evansville facility is the first of many Lucas Oil Centers planned for many communities across the country.
