New terminal manager joins Ruan

Ruan has named Michael Preston terminal manager for a customer facility in Yuma, AZ. Preston will manage route optimization for more than 20 drivers in Arizona and California

Ruan has named Michael Preston terminal manager for a customer facility in Yuma, AZ. Preston will manage route optimization for more than 20 drivers in Arizona and California that serve a Ruan dedicated contract carriage customer.

Preston has more than 25 years experience in the transportation industry. For the past four years, Preston had been based in Memphis, TN, working as the regional transportation manager for Family Dollar. He managed 125 drivers who delivered to more than 800 stores in the mid-southern region. Preston also held logistics positions at Roadway, Diamond-Star Motors and Chemical Leaman Tank Lines.

“Joining Ruan is an exciting opportunity, as our company is known for excellence in customer service and as a leader in dedicated contract carriage,” said Preston. “I will be able to utilize my background in logistics and driver management, while building the relationship with our customer.”
