Bendix names CFO

Arnfred Kulenkampff has been appointed chief financial officer and VP of finance and IT of Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, the North American brake and safety system manufacturer.

Formerly VP of finance at Alcoa Electrical and Electronic Solutions, Kulenkampff will have overall responsibility for Bendix IT and finance teams.

He brings extensive experience in all areas of financial and operation management in the automotive industry, combined with a strong, demonstrated background in IT management,” said Joe McAleese, president and CEO of Bendix. “Arnfred’s hands-on, global experience fits our business model and offers the right level of support to our organization as we continue to drive toward achieving our 2010 business goals and beyond.”

Part of the Knorr-Bremse Group, Bendix is headquartered in Elyria, Ohio, with manufacturing plants in Acuña, Mexico; Bowling Green, KY; Huntington, IN, and Vancouver, British Columbia.
