• T. Boone Pickens to keynote WasteExpo

    T. Boone Pickens, founder of Mesa Petroleum, BP Capital, and Clean Energy, will be the keynoter at Penton Media’s WasteExpo, to be held May 9-12 at the Dallas Convention Center

    T. Boone Pickens, founder of Mesa Petroleum, BP Capital, and Clean Energy, will be the keynoter at Penton Media’s WasteExpo, to be held May 9-12 at the Dallas Convention Center.

    Pickens will speak Wed. May 11, at 9 am. His address will be on the topic “Solving Our Costly and Dangerous Dependence on OPEC Oil.” The keynote address is open free of charge to all WasteExpo-badged participants.

    His speech will be presented by Clean Energy and sponsored by Advanced Disposal Services, Choice Environmental Services, City Carting & Recycling, Mission Trail Waste Systems, Republic Services, U.S.A. Hauling & Recycling Inc., and Waste Pro.

    “WasteExpo is grateful that leaders in the solid waste and recycling industry have come together to make this keynote address possible and enable our participants to have this additional level of knowledge,” said Rita Ugianskis, managing director of Penton’s Waste Industry Group.
