NLM has introduced truckload brokerage services, giving customers the ability to manage brokerage shipments from initial set-up through invoices, the logistics provider said.
According to the company, NLM Truckload Brokerage will comprise both standard equipment and specialized equipment such as flatbeds, drop-decks and curtain-sides. It will be managed via NLM’s carrier network.
“NLM Truckload Brokerage provides another option for customers seeking to find the best transportation method for their shipments, ” said Greg Humes, president of NLM. “We are confident that through our strong carrier relationships, our truckload brokerage service will deliver the same high quality service customers have come to expect from NLM’s other shipment management solutions.”
In addition, NLM announced it has renewed an agreement with Allison Transmission to provide its critical shipments and dynamic shipment procurement tool using its web-based bidding and auction environment.
