West Brother’s Transportation Services has named Michael C. Killius to the newly created position of vp--integrated logistics. Killius will be in charge of business development, contract carriage services, and account management, the company said.

Killius has over 25 years of experience in logistics, previously working at Ryder Integrated Logistics and Pacific Intermountain Express. He comes to West Brother from CEVA Logistics, where he most recently served as director of business development.

"Dedicated contract carriage is a major growth area for us because more businesses than ever are seeing how continuous productivity improvement can be directly linked to more efficient transportation services," said executive vp of sales & marketing Douglas J. Ostanek. "Mike will help our dedicated clients and prospects smooth out supply line issues by integrating a seamless logistics plan including dedicated contract carriage."
