    Caterpillar dealer Ransome has been awarded sales, parts and service operations for Navistar’s International Truck brand in Philadelphia, Delaware and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania as well as in Southern New Jersey. Ransome has handled Caterpillar business in those areas for nearly 80 years.

    The new agreement with Navistar will include all sales, parts, service, leasing, rental and engine overhaul business.

    “Our established expertise in truck and engine service makes this a sensible fit for us and for International, but especially for truck owners,” said Wayne Bromley, Ransome president.

    The company also handles maintenance and repairs for all truck makes.

    Ransome’s main truck facilities are located in West Chester, PA, and in Swedesboro, NJ. Used-truck sales, rentals, service and engine work is also performed at other Ransome locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
