TravelCenters raises money for St. Jude

TravelCenters of America LLC has raised $410,961 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this October through donations at TA and Petro locations across the U.S. during its Halloween Pumpkin Promotion, the company announced.

Employees and customers at participating centers made $1 donations to St. Jude to support children in their fight against cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Donors wrote their names on pumpkin-themed pinups, displayed at TravelCenters locations throughout the month of October.

“TravelCenters of America and Petro are very proud to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in its mission to save children’s lives,” said Tom O’Brien, CEO of TravelCenters. “Our participation in the annual pumpkin promotion gives our hard-working employees and customers the opportunity to do something good for the children treated by St. Jude’s and take an active role fighting childhood cancers.”
