• GreenRoad offering automated fuel tax reporting

    Feb. 22, 2012

GreenRoad, a driver performance and safety management solutions company, is now offering automated fuel tax reporting. The offering is part of the company’s open integration platform, which has allowed it to partner with ProMiles, a fuel tax reporting solution.

The integration with ProMiles will provide fleet managers state and province fuel tax reporting in accordance with the International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) and compliance verification mandated by U.S. and Canadian reporting requirements. It will eliminate paper trip sheets, data entry errors, and missing trips, GreenRoad said, leading to improved compliance and accuracy.

“This ProMiles partnership and integration is important to any transportation fleet with trucks crossing state lines in the U.S. or from Canada. It’s another demonstration of GreenRoad’s commitment to delivering the best drivers on the road,” said David Coleman, senior vice president for global business development at GreenRoad. “Tracking and reporting fuel tax mileage is a thankless task when done manually; now fuel tax reporting with GreenRoad is as easy as a few clicks.”

GreenRoad combines advanced in-vehicle driver performance technology with online data and reporting.
