SR-4 closure planned in Antioch, Pittsburg, CA

Drivers in the Pittsburg and Antioch, CA, areas are warned that all westbound lanes on State Route 4 will be closed for several hours Thursday and Friday, according to the California Dept. of Transportation (Caltrans).

The closure will run from Loveridge Rd. in Pittsburg through Somersville Rd. in Antioch, starting at 10 p.m. Thursday and ending at 3:30 a.m. Friday.

The road closure is part of the ongoing project to widen SR-4 and accommodate the region’s growing traffic.
