The Truckload Carriers Assn. is seeking input from members regarding their involvement in state and federal politics and their willingness to participate in trucking industry advocacy initiatives with legislators in Washington, D.C.
“As our industry is continually targeted and threatened by burdensome rules and regulations, TCA must become more active in helping to promote the interests of truckload carriers to the nation’s lawmakers and regulators,” said Dave Heller, TCA director of safety and policy in a letter to TCA members.
Heller asks all TCA members to complete a short Congressional Relations survey. “It will provide you with an opportunity to tell us, among other things, if you would like to participate further in our advocacy activities,” he said.
