TMSA conference to highlight transportation growth strategies

April 27, 2012

The annual conference of the Transportation Marketing and Sales Assn. (TMSA) will focus on growth strategies for transportation companies.

TMSA, which focuses on the needs of marketing, sales and communications professionals within the transportation and logistics industries, will hold its 2012 Annual Conference and Expo June 3-5, at the Westin Diplomat, located in Hollywood, FL.

This year’s theme, “Ready, Set, Grow! Moving Transportation Forward,” focuses the conference on solutions transportation professionals can utilize to make immediate profit enhancements, the organization said. Conference sessions will include cutting-edge insight and ideas to help move transportation forward and boost industry growth. Specialty breakout tracks specifically geared toward sales and marketing and communications will also be featured.

“Our goal year after year is to present a platform for education and growth,” said David Hoppens, president of TMSA. “This year, as the industry continues to face challenges, we will strive to provide attendees with dynamic ideas, connections and recognition not only to better their businesses, but also to deliver personal and professional growth.”

Keynote speakers will include John Blumberg, founder of Keynote Concepts, who will deliver the opening remarks, and Joe Pulizzi, founder of Content Marketing Institute and Social Tract.

TMSA will also recognize the best in sales, marketing and communications within the transportation and logistics industries at the 60th Annual Compass Awards Gala. The Compass Awards are industry recognized awards that honor individuals and companies in the transportation industry who set the standard for sales, marketing and communications practices within their business class.
