A strategic action plan has resulted in a realignment of the sales team for Auto Truck Group, creating a new position. Matt McGowan has been tapped to fill that spot as director-sales, western region, for the custom upfitter.
McGowan will be based at the Bartlett, IL, facility, and work with the western sales team and the group’s Denver and Colorado Springs facilities to strengthen existing account relationships and initiate new business development, the company said.
“Matt has demonstrated excellent sales leadership since joining Auto Truck Group,” said Dennis J. Jones, vice president, sales & marketing. “He will play an integral role in our continued growth in the western region.”
McGowan has been with Auto Truck Group since June 2009, serving first as a sales manager and then as fleet sales manager for northeast sales.
