Polar Tank Trailer names director of quality

June 29, 2012

Mike McCall has been named director of quality and continuous improvement for Polar Tank Trailer. McCall will be responsible for the development and execution of quality-management activities at all three of the company’s manufacturing plants.

Polar builds custom tank trailers for dry and liquid bulk cargoes including oil and fuel, food products, asphalt, chemicals, and corrosives.

McCall brings 23 years of management experience in heavy-duty and automotive component manufacturing. He was most recently vice president of operations at Sy-Klone International.

“At a time of great demand for tank trailers, Mike’s objective is to ensure that we meet the quality and delivery standards our customers expect,” said Jim Painter, president of Polar Tank Trailer. “He will move the organization to a higher level of quality and cost effectiveness.”
