Carlos Hungria joins Bendix as COO, board member

Carlos Hungria, a 30-year veteran of the industry, has joined Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems as chief operating officer and an executive board member. Hungria comes to Bendix from Volvo, where he most recently served as chief operating officer at Volvo Powertrain.

During a 30-year career with Volvo, Hungria served in a variety of key management roles, including senior vice president at Volvo Powertrain; vice president of purchasing and supply management at Volvo Construction Equipment; vice president of Purchasing at Volvo/Mack North America; vice president of purchasing for Bus North America – Volvo Bus Corporation; and director of product development, purchasing, and product planning at Volvo de Brazil. He began his career at Volvo de Brazil as a manufacturing manager – Trucks and Buses.
