Arnold Transportation Services, a regional carrier owned by U.S. Xpress Enterprises, and LinkAmerica Corp. are merging to form a new joint company employing more than 1,800 drivers. The merger is expected to be completed in January 2013.
The new company will operate under the Arnold name and be jointly owned and operated by U.S. Xpress Enterprises and Tenex Capital Management, owner of LinkAmerica.
Through the merger, Arnold will expand its footprint and operate more than 1,400 trucks and 5,000 trailers with an expected $220 million in annual revenue.

LinkAmerica is a Ft. Worth, TX-based truckload and logistics carrier serving the Southeast and Southwest. Arnold provides dry van service from the Northeast to the Southwest.
