• Polar names controller

    Feb. 1, 2013

Rick Jech has been named controller of Polar Service Centers, the network of tank trailer parts and service locations. Jech will report to Mike Evans, president.

Prior to his new role, Jech was senior director of finance at McNeilus Companies, a division of Oshkosh Corp. His management responsibilities included finance functions for the company’s branch equipment and aftermarket operations.

“Rick’s extensive knowledge of the commercial-vehicle business as well as his understanding of the heavy-duty aftermarket make him a great choice for this position,” Evans said.

Jech replaces Jeff Behrens, who was named director of purchasing at Polar Tank Trailer.
