• Mitsubishi Fuso names CFO

    March 1, 2013

Mutsumi Miwa has been named chief financial officer of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America (MFTA). Miwa rejoins the company after spending five years with the company before returning to Japan in 2000.

“Mr. Miwa’s financial expertise and the hands-on experience he developed over the course of his previous assignments with MFTBC will be instrumental in helping to guide our long-term growth,” said Todd Bloom, president & CEO of MFTA.

Miwa joined MFTA in 1995 as treasure and was promoted to CFO in 1997. Since 2000, Miwa has held a number of posts in the financial offices of MFTA’s parent company, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp., Kawasaki, Japan.

“Fortunately for us,” said Bloom, “Mr. Miwa brings with him a thorough understanding of the truck industry in North America, as well as a thorough knowledge of MFTA business operations and the needs of our dealer network. We look forward to the many contributions I know he will make to MFTA’s ongoing success.”
