Bomb threat at C.R. England

A bomb squad blew up a suspicious package at the Salt Lake City, UT, offices of truckload carrier C.R. England on April 1 after an employee allegedly called in a bomb threat.

West Valley City police officers on the scene told KSL News that an employee left a suspicious-looking box outside the trucking company offices, than called in a bomb threat.

The threat forced police to evacuate employees and clear the area. After blowing up the box, officers found religious pamphlets and a towel inside.

So far, investigators have found no evidence this was more than an idle threat.
