The Gates Corp., a manufacturer of industrial and automotive products, has named Jeff Brekke executive vice president of the company’s Global Aftermarket business. He will remain in his current role as president of North America Aftermarket.

In addition, the company named Jack Ramsey senior vice president-North America Aftermarket.

“I am pleased to have Jeff and Jack assume expanded leadership roles for the company,” said James Nicol, chairman and CEO of Gates. “They bring extensive Aftermarket knowledge and experience to the organization and will be tremendous assets to Gates as we continue to focus on meeting our global financial objectives, expanding our product offerings, and creating aggressive and strategic customer growth initiatives.”

Brekke has 33 years of aftermarket industry leadership experience working with Gates customers in global operating environments and will continue to shape the direction of the business in his expanded role.

Ramsey has served in numerous leadership roles since joining Gates in 1993, most recently as sales and divisional vice president. In that role, he had responsibility for the Gates business relationship with National Automotive Parts Association (NAPA), Genuine Parts Company, and Quaker City Motor Parts.
