PrePass selects WEX Fleet One as fuel card partner

Aug. 6, 2013

WEX Fleet One will supply private-label fuel cards to PrePass, a service of HELP Inc. The new partnership will provide PrePass-branded fuel cards and access to the Bridgestone National Preferred program, offering PrePass members discounts on emergency and routine tire replacement.

The program is being launched with the support of Celtic Bank, a national small business lender.

“We are very excited about the opportunity this relationship will provide fleets nationwide. By utilizing the PrePass weigh station, tolling bypass system and the PrePass-branded fuel card products, a fleet can enjoy additional security, control and cost containment measures,” stated George Hogan, general manager, WEX Fleet One. “By enhancing its offerings with a fuel card product, PrePass has only increased its value to fleets as yet another tool to minimize costs.”

PrePass is an electronic pre-clearance system that enables participating transponder-equipped commercial vehicles to bypass designated weigh stations, port-of-entry facilities and Agricultural interdiction facilities throughout the nation while traveling at highway speeds. Additionally, PrePass Plus enables carriers on the PrePass system to access electronic toll payment at EZ-Pass facilities using one transponder.
