ARI expands European footprint with acquisition of HPI Fleet

Oct. 11, 2013

Fleet services provider ARI has acquired HPI Fleet and its related European business entities.  The transaction is expected to close this month, at which time HPI Fleet will operate as ARI.

ARI’s European operations will now include operations in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

“The acquisition of HPI Fleet, in tandem with our businesses in the UK and Germany, reflects our genuine commitment to serve the needs of our customers who are growing globally, as well as to deliver fleet solutions tailored to meet in-country needs,” said Carl A. Ortell, president.

ARI will manage its continental European operations from its offices in Stuttgart and Frankfurt, Germany, and its UK operations from Chippenham, England.

“ARI’s significant global investment over the past several years reflects the confidence we have in a universal need for our unique brand of ‘world-class’ fleet management,” said Chris Conroy, managing director of global operations. “We intend to leverage our expanded geographic footprint to provide services to both our existing multi-national customers and to those with regional requirements in Europe. As with all of ARI’s businesses, this will be supported by continued investment in people, processes, and technology.”
